I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a blog for some time now. I have a few cherished blogs that I read on a daily basis. They give me that boost of inspiration that I need. Then HOD 1400 hit and all of the sudden I’m forced to start thinking about what I want to do with my life. As it turns out, I’d like to do something that has structure but also allows me to be creative. I have my fair share of structure as a Vanderbilt student. However, I am not always as creative as I would like to be. I thought that having a blog would give me motivation to think and act creatively. The blog name, Live and Move, came from Acts 17:28. “For in him we live and move and have our being.” At the risk of sounding cliche, this blog is a lot about finding out who I am. For me, the blog title is a reminder that my identity is in Christ. Anything I do, creatively or otherwise, will ultimately bean outpouring of who I am in Him. That is such a freeing truth. Welcome to my blog. Bear with me as I figure out how this all works. Check back to see what living and moving looks like for me as the days pass.
